Orka Secures £3 Million in Funding

Orka Technology Group (Orka), a Manchester, UK-based SaaS business that provides tech-based solutions for shift workers and their employers, secured a £3 million investment from venture capital investor Praetura Ventures.

With this funding, Orka plans to speed up product development, expand its API integration program, and expand into other businesses, such as mechanical and electrical engineering.

It also intends to expand its data science and machine learning efforts to automate as many of the operations performed by employees and employers as possible, allowing for speedier and more frictionless procedures on both sides.
