Paymob, based in Egypt, is a payments infrastructure provider that enables merchants to accept payments and manage their finances. The company announced it has raised $35 million in a pre-Series C funding round, bringing its total funding raised to approximately $125 million.
Investors
The round was co-led by Mubadala and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Additional participating investors included British International Investment (BII), Global Ventures, and DPI Ventures.
Paymob Use of Funds
The company plans to use the new capital to support its expansion across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by scaling its digital payments acceptance business and introducing new products for SME merchants and agentic commerce.
