Upstream Security, automotive cybersecurity, and data analytics for connected vehicles announced that it has raised $62 million in a Series C round led by Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI). 

Other participants include I.D.I. Insurance, 57 Stars’ NextGen Mobility Fund, and La Maison Partners, Glilot Capital, Salesforce venture, Volvo Group Venture Capital, Nationwide, Delek US.

Upstream's new investment will accelerate its growth and strengthen its position as an industry leader in connected vehicle cyber security, as well as broaden its data analytic offerings to current and potential customers. In addition, the organization will continue to spend in identifying, attracting, recruiting, and retaining top personnel.
