Sentra Raises $150M Series C

Sentra, an agentic data-security company based in the United States, announced that it has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round. The company provides a platform for governing enterprise data accessed by employees, applications, and AI agents, helping organizations manage security risks as they scale their use of artificial intelligence.

The round was led by Capital One Ventures. Additional participating investors include Bessemer Venture Partners, Zeev Ventures, Standard Investments, Munich Re Ventures, and Key1 Capital.

Sentra Use of Funds

Sentra plans to use the new capital to fund product development, specifically focusing on expanding visibility into AI agents, copilots, and models, as well as enhancing data-at-rest protection and continuous least-privilege enforcement for identities. The company will also use the funds to scale its field and channel programs, increase marketing activities, and expand its presence into new geographical markets.
