Tenora, a UK-based financial technology company that provides a corporate treasury and FX management platform, has secured £7.5 million in a new funding round led by Fexco. The funding comprises a £5.5 million equity investment and an additional £2 million funding line to support Tenora's treasury and margin requirements as trading volumes increase.

The latest funding round was led by Fexco, an international payments and foreign exchange technology group. Existing investor Macquarie, through its Commodities and Global Markets business, previously increased its shareholding in Tenora.

Tenora plans to use the capital to support its expansion into treasury orchestration, which involves integrating FX risk management, hedging, execution, and cash management on a single platform. The funds will also accelerate the development of the company's AI-native platform and support its ongoing overseas expansion efforts.
