Tare, a Brooklyn, New York-based fintech company developing blockchain infrastructure for private credit, has raised $13.25 million in seed funding to streamline loan management and administrative processes for private lenders.
Investors
The funding round was led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from Janus Henderson, Strobe Ventures, The Venture Dept., Neoclassic Capital, and the Avalanche Foundation. Individual investors included Aave CEO Stani Kulechov, Tether cofounder Phil Potter, and Privy CEO Henri Stern. The round closed in March 2026, and Tare did not disclose its valuation.
Tare Use of Funds
Tare will use the new capital to build and expand its loan management software on the Avalanche blockchain, hire additional staff, and secure the necessary licenses for its lending arm, Tare Credit LLC, to operate across the United States.
About Tare
Founded in late 2023 by Kevin Miao, Keerthi Moudgal, and Lucas Vogelsang, Tare is building infrastructure designed to bring private-credit operations onto a unified blockchain-based platform. Its technology is intended to create digital records of loans while automating administrative processes such as loan management, recordkeeping, payment distribution, and transaction reconciliation. The company is headquartered in Brooklyn and also maintains an office in Lisbon, Portugal.
