Smartness, an Arco, Italy-based hospitality technology company, has raised €47 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to more than €60 million.

The round was led by United Ventures and CDP Venture Capital, with participation from existing investor Partech.
United Ventures is an independent venture capital firm headquartered in Milan that focuses on early-stage technology investments in companies positioned to digitally transform traditional industries. Managing more than $416 million across multiple funds, the firm primarily targets Series A rounds in sectors such as cloud software (SaaS) and cybersecurity.
CDP Venture Capital is Italy’s state-backed venture capital manager and the operator of the National Innovation Fund, established to accelerate the growth of the country’s startup and innovation ecosystem. The firm invests across the full startup lifecycle, from pre-seed to scale-up, through direct investments, venture funds, accelerators, and technology-transfer initiatives. Its focus areas include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, deep tech, healthcare, sustainability, robotics, and the space economy.
Smartness Use of Funds
The company will use the funding to strengthen its AI-driven hospitality software platform, expand global operations, pursue M&A opportunities, and advance its vision of building the world’s first agentic operating system for hotels and vacation rentals.
