Smart Tribune, a Paris, France-based customer self-service software, raised €8 million in funding from Elevation Capital Partners and XAnge to accelerate innovation in self-service and expand its development of artificial intelligence-enhanced customer and employee experience solutions.
With this funding, Smart Tribune aims to accelerate the development of its solutions by strengthening its R&D department, as well as broadening its international reach.

Smart Tribune launched its first dynamic FAQ solution, SmartFAQ, in 2016 to address Internet users' need for autonomy as well as businesses' customer satisfaction challenges. Following that, a conversational chatbot and a platform for centralizing and disseminating knowledge for customer service representatives were launched.
The company's goal is to increase its research in artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning by strengthening its technical and R&D teams in order to offer the best-personalized self-service solutions.
The Technical and R&D division represents more than 40% of the company's workforce, which Smart Tribune plans to double in the next 18 months, with the recruitment of ten additional IT profiles beginning in the second half of 2023: data scientist, UX, AI expert, and so on.
