About the Company: Founded in 2018, Skiller Whale takes a new approach to training that is designed for learning during employment. Skiller Whale does live, hands-on micro-coaching for developers, with topics targeted at individuals’ skill gaps. Led by experts in React, Python, Postgres, Typescript, Go among others, dev teams get fast knowledge of advanced features in 2 hours per month. As a team, we strive to be intelligent, playful learners – principles that define who we are, not only as a company providing a product but also as a group of people working together. Our tech team is 40% female, the company is based across 6 countries, and the executive team are all parents (so work/life balance is a necessity rather than a perk!). Skiller Whale currently focuses on tech training, with a growing offering in Python, Go, Javascript, Typescript, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL. With a team of 11 people based in 6 countries, the company has been a remote-first organization from the outset.
