Simon Data, a New York-based customer data platform (CDP), secured $54 million in a Series D funding round led by Macquarie Capital.
Several existing investors, including Polaris, .406, and F-Prime, also participated in the round.
The Series D funding follows the recent launch of Simon Data's innovative tool called Connected Segmentation. This tool empowers marketers, regardless of their technical expertise, to create customer segments directly within Snowflake, a cloud data warehouse.
The infusion of funds will accelerate Simon Data's ongoing product development efforts. This will enable the company to expand its offerings, creating connected applications that work seamlessly with other cloud data warehouses. This expansion will allow more customers to access a fully-connected CDP.
