MOVIN Raises ₩10B Series A

MOVIN, a South Korea-based artificial intelligence startup specializing in LiDAR-based 3D motion data, has secured 10 billion won in Series A funding. The company aims to leverage this capital to expand its motion capture operations and enhance its physical AI technology infrastructure.

This round was led by IMM Investment, with participation from IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Voyager Ventures. Existing investors Atinum Investment, Naver D2SF, and Schmidt also participated in the round.

MOVIN Use of Funds

MOVIN plans to use the new capital to establish a new 100-pyeong research and development center to collect multimodal data for world models. The company will focus on advancing its AI models, scaling its overseas business, and evolving its technology from its flagship single-user motion capture solution into a comprehensive on-device multimodal AI-based motion data infrastructure.
