Marble Raises €6.5M Series A

Marble, a Paris-based open-source platform specializing in automated fraud detection and anti-money laundering compliance, has successfully raised €6.5 million in a Series A funding round. This latest injection of capital brings the company total funding to €9 million, as it continues to scale its operations for financial institutions and fintech companies globally.

The Series A round was led by Smartfin, a European venture capital and private equity firm focused on high-growth B2B technology companies. The round also included ADNEXUS and existing investors Passion, 42Capital, and Hexa, with TSIC also listed among Marble’s existing investors.

Marble Use of Funds

Marble plans to utilize the fresh capital to further integrate artificial intelligence into its compliance workflows. Specifically, the company aims to enhance its AI-powered automation, accelerate deployment timelines for banks and fintech clients, develop new agentic compliance capabilities, and improve the adaptability of its systems. These initiatives are designed to simplify rule generation, alert triage, and case investigation for compliance teams.
