DOD Solution Raises €1.8M Pre-seed

DOD Solution, an Estonian-Ukrainian DefenceTech company developing onboard autonomy for unmanned systems, has closed a €1.8 million pre-seed funding round. The company specializes in artificial intelligence software and computing hardware designed to enable autonomous navigation, perception, and target tracking for various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in GPS-degraded environments.

Investors

The funding round saw participation from Angel One Fund, Better Angle, Defence Builder Fund, Network VC, Newfund, UAID Fund, WildField Ventures, and 4C-Next Holding AG. Additionally, Canadian drone technology company Draganfly joined the round as a strategic investor.

DOD Solution Use of Funds

The company plans to use the capital to support the production of its next-generation AURA SBC onboard computer and advance the capabilities of its AURA OS software stack. The funds will also accelerate integration efforts with unmanned platform manufacturers in Ukraine and facilitate the company’s expansion into European and North American markets.
