deskbird, a St. Gallen, Switzerland-based Software-as-a-service (SaaS) workplace management company, secured $13 million in Series A funding

The round was led by ALSTIN Capital and AVP (AXA Venture Partners), with participation from existing investors, Rivus Capital, and PortfoLion.

ALSTIN Capital is an independent venture capital fund based in Munich. The investment focus is on fast-growing technology companies from all over Europe with the potential to become market leaders. It invests not only in convincing technology but, above all, in the entrepreneurs behind the technology.

AVP (AXA Venture Partners) is a global venture capital firm investing in high-growth, technology-enabled companies with €1.3bn of assets under management through four pillars of investment expertise: early stage, growth stage, late growth stage, and fund of funds. Since its launch in 2016, AVP has deployed capital across 60 technology companies in the venture and Growth stages in the US and Europe.

The funding will be allocated to support the company's growth and expansion plans. deskbird aims to expand its market presence across Europe and other regions, including the USA. The company also intends to use the financing round to further develop its product.
