Cleric Secures $4.3 Million in Seed Round

Cleric, a San Francisco, CA-based company building AI SRE, has secured $4.3 million in seed funding.  

The company announced the development of the first autonomous AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) teammate, aimed at alleviating engineering teams from the burden of providing on-call support.

The round was led by Zetta Venture Partners, with participation from AI infrastructure angel investors, including leaders at Google Cloud, Sysdig, Tecton, and Neo4J.  

Founded in 2013, Zetta Venture Partners is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. The firm prefers to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage companies operating in the artificial intelligence and business-to-business sectors across North America and Europe. They invest $1-5M in pre-traction startups.  

Cleric Use of Funds  

The company plans to utilize its funding to scale R&D efforts in its San Francisco and Singapore offices. The focus will be on expanding its suite of integrations and fostering strategic partnerships to further enhance its AI-powered solution.
