Clazar Raises $10 Million in Series A

Clazar, a San Francisco, CA-based company specializing in empowering software businesses to sell and grow revenue through cloud marketplaces, has raised $10 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $14 million. 


The round was led by Ridge Ventures and Ensemble VC, with participation from Saurabh Gupta, Managing Partner at DST Global. Existing investors such as The General Partnership and Twin Ventures also contributed, along with notable seed round investors including Lenny Rachitsky, Vlad Loktev, Vinod Devan, Clara Liang, Kyle Parish, and Neha Narkhede. 

Ridge Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures) is an early-stage venture capital fund investing in experienced founders redefining how the world uses software. Founded in 2007, the firm prefers to make investments in the seed and Series A rounds in the technology, enterprise, and consumer market sectors. 

Founded in 2020, Ensemble VC is a modern early-stage venture capital firm that is backed by category-defining operators and investors. Based in Austin, Texas, the firm invests in a diverse range of industries. 

Clazar Use of Funds 

The company intends to utilize the funds to bolster its research and development efforts, focusing on product innovation to enhance its offerings. Expansion plans include scaling up its go-to-market (GTM) teams to meet the increasing demand and drive new customer acquisition.
