Channext, an Utrecht, Netherlands-based Software-as-a-Service platform that makes an online connection between vendors and business partners, announced that it raised €4.5 million in a Series A round of funding.

The investment was led by Holland Capital, with the Graduate Entrepreneur Fund and current investors.

With this funding, Channext aims to become the European market leader and connect its first US customers.

Rick van den Bosch, CEO of Channext, said: “We raised this investment round to establish Channext as the European market leader, and take the first steps in the United States. Our ambition is to grow to 10,000 business partners. We’re launching with two vendors in the US this month, and aim to significantly grow that number over the coming 18 months.”
