BizAway, a Milan, Italy-based business travel platform provider, raised €10 million in new funding to continue its growth journey.
The funding was provided by illimity, who chose to support BizAway after analyzing its growth plans aimed at further developing its disruptive and technology-driven business model in the business travel sector.
BizAway offers its customers a comprehensive and simplified experience for managing business travel. One of BizAway's features is BizzyFlex, which allows business travelers to cancel bookings by paying a 10% fee of the total cost up to three hours before departure/check-in, without any questions asked. This offers travelers the opportunity to receive a refund of up to 80% of the canceled trip's total amount.
The company is also committed to promoting sustainable transportation through various rail integrations, including Renfe, SNCF, and SBB/CFF/FSS. As the first TMC (Travel Management Company) to integrate Iryo services into its platform, BizAway simplifies itinerary management for train travel throughout Europe.
