AudioShake, a San Francisco, CA-based AI music startup developing software for musicians and production companies, raised $2.7 million in Seed funding, bringing its total funding to more than $5 million.
The round was led by Indicator Ventures, with participation from Precursor Ventures, and Side Door Ventures.
It also included investments from Metallica-backed Black Squirrel Partners, AJR, Google’s Black Angel Group, peermusic, Roneil Rumburg, Steve Greenberg, and Crush Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its research and engineering teams and AI model training.
The company works with the music, film/TV, and dubbing industries to power audio separation across sync licensing, spatial audio, synthetic voice, and dubbing, and partners with third parties to help build audio experiences across social, UGC, streaming, gaming, and more.
