ZenML, a Munich, Germany-based creator of an extensible open-source Machine Learning Operationalization (MLOps) framework for data scientists, raised $2.7 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Richard Socher, Pieter Abbeel, Jim Keller, Dirk Hoke, Nicolas Dessaigne, Carsten Thoma, and others.

The company will use this funding to build out the tooling suite in the open and expand its team of the world's leading ML technologists.
