Welbi, Ottawa, Canada-based fastest-growing resident experience platform for senior living communities, announced that it raised CAD 3 million seed round, bringing its total funding to $6 million to fuel further expansion into senior living communities across Canada and the United States.
Alongside expansion to the US, Welbi plans to use the money to triple its team from 11 to 30 people by the end of 2022.
Graphite Ventures, MaRS IAF, SoGal Ventures, and Roach Capital invested in the seed round, with participation from angel investors.
