WarpWare Raises $1.2M Pre-seed
WarpWare, a Colorado-based startup developing an AI-enabled engineering platform for spacecraft flight software, has raised $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was secured through simple agreements for future equity (SAFEs) to expand the reach of the company's agentic engineering tools.
Investors
The funding round was primarily angel-funded, featuring participation from the Rockies Venture Club, Cowtown Angels, and the Aggie Angel Network. Additional participation came from two space-focused early-stage funds, Vesper Alpha and Marlboro Lane Ventures, alongside various individual angel investors.
WarpWare Use of Funds
The company intends to use the capital to bring its agentic engineering capabilities to a broader array of commercial and government space markets. Additionally, the funding will support the build-out of sales and marketing operations to scale the company's customer base.
About WarpWare
Founded by CEO Alex Reynolds and COO Mickey Mathew, WarpWare emerged from their shared experience at Sierra Space. The company provides a unified platform that integrates flight software, guidance, navigation, and control, as well as simulation and testing environments, aiming to replace the traditional ground-up development approach for space missions with automated, agentic workflows.
