VERO, a New York-based modern leasing platform for owners and renters, announced $9 million in Series B funding, bringing its total raised to date to $26.7 million.
The round was led by Fifth Wall, the largest asset manager focused on improving, future-proofing, and decarbonizing the built world. The fresh capital will help to deepen VERO's tech stack, optimizing the owner and renter experience.
The latest funding round will enhance VERO's already comprehensive platform and expand the capabilities offered to property managers and renters, providing them with a novel leasing experience. Additionally, VERO intends to augment its team of seasoned industry professionals with the raised capital.
"As one centralized hub for end-to-end leasing needs, the key experience of operators and renters is critical," said Lou Baugier, CEO & Co-Founder of VERO. "We're investing in what our customers want and need the most: customizable solutions that provide a streamlined experience, increased net asset value, and transparency for all involved."
The company will soon launch the industry's first dynamic, conversational application for leasing, offering an omnichannel experience with AI-assisted, dynamically generated interviews.
VERO is a unique tech solution that automates the tedious tasks of verifying a potential renter's previous residency and qualifications, making the process faster and more efficient. This eliminates the burden on property management teams while speeding up the time it takes to convert leads to leases.
Its centralized platform streamlines workflows for property owners, reduces risk, and increases net asset value (NAV), while also providing time savings and transparency for renters and on-site property teams.
