Velatir Raises €5M Seed

Velatir, an Odense-based AI infrastructure startup, has secured €5 million in funding six months after its pre-seed round and official launch. The company, which is building an AI integration layer focused on European compliance and sovereign infrastructure, plans to use the capital to accelerate its European expansion and recruit top regional talent.

Investors

This round was co-led by Spintop Ventures and Ugly Duckling Ventures. Other participating investors include Norrsken Evolve, Jan Oberhauser, and Thomas Visti. The Danish Export and Investment Fund, EIFO, provided a match loan.

Velatir Use of Funds

Velatir plans to use the €5 million in funding to triple down on its European market expansion and compete for the best talent in the region.
