Vektor Medical, a San Diego, CA-based non-invasive, AI-based arrhythmia analysis technology, has raised $16 million in Series A funding.

The round was co-led by Solas BioVentures and TVM Capital Life Science.

Solas BioVentures invests exclusively in the life science industry, focusing on early-stage biotech, medtech, and digital health companies. Founded in Chattanooga, TN, Solas is proud of its southern roots and founder-centric patient-focused approach to foster breakthrough medicine and technology innovation.

TVM Capital Life Science is a leading international venture capital firm focused on investing in life science innovations. The company has approximately $900 million under management. TVM’s portfolio focuses on therapeutics and medical technologies from North America and the EU that represent differentiated first-in-class or best-in-class assets with the potential to transform the standard of care.

Vektor Medical Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to support the commercialization of vMap, Vektor's AI-based arrhythmia analysis tool, which streamlines ablation procedures for electrophysiologists (EPs) and improves patient outcomes. The funds will also be used to increase clinical support, conduct additional clinical studies, and work towards securing reimbursement.
