Veeda AI Raises $90M Seed

Veeda AI, a Toronto-headquartered startup specializing in multimodal foundation world models for physical AI, has raised more than US$90 million in seed financing. Founded shortly after the departure of computer vision researcher Sanja Fidler from Nvidia, the company aims to create simulated environments where embodied agents can learn through interaction. This funding round ranks among the largest seed financings ever secured by a Canadian company.
