VectorShift, a New York-based startup that aims to simplify large language model (LLM) application development with a modular no-code approach, raised $3 million in seed funding.  

SaaS Investors 

The investment was from investors including 1984 Ventures, Defy.vc, Formus Capital, and Y Combinator.  

Founded in 2017, 1984 Ventures is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. The firm seeks to make investments in companies operating in the e-commerce, supply chain, SaaS, fintech, consumer, financial services, healthcare, and information technology sectors.  

Defy is a seed-stage venture fund focused on emerging, high-potential opportunities. The firm invests in people and in their conviction and talent for creating real change. Founded in 2016 and is based in San Mateo, California, United States.  

Founded in 2023, Formus Capital is a venture capital firm based in the United States. The early-stage VC firm invests in the people behind market-transforming ideas and helps them become enduring businesses.  

Founded in 2005, Y Combinator is an accelerator firm based in Mountain View, California. The firm prefers to invest in b2b software and services, education, consumer, healthcare, real estate and construction, financial technology, industrials, and government sectors.  

VectorShift Use of Funds 

The seed funding will support further development to establish VectorShift as the go-to platform for LLM workflows and automation, riding on the increasing adoption of generative AI across various industries.
