Vector Legal Raises $5.19M Seed

Vector Legal, an AI-native law firm and software provider based in the United States, has raised $5.19 million in a seed round. The company aims to reduce legal costs for startups by combining a traditional law firm model with proprietary automation software.

Investors

The round was led by Base 10 Partners, with participation from Y Combinator and angel investor Chris Smoak.

Vector Legal plans to use the capital to further develop its AI-native legal platform, scale its operations, and continue growing its team of attorneys to support startups from company formation through major financing events and acquisitions.

Founded in 2026 by Mitch Duncombe and Keenan Venuti, Vector Legal is an AI-native law firm that provides founders with software to handle routine legal tasks, such as company formation, trademark filing, and document management, while offering access to senior legal counsel for complex, bet-the-company matters.
