Validio, a Stockholm, Sweden-based SaaS company that offers a cloud-based solution for enterprise customers for real-time validation, monitoring, and cleaning of big data, raised $15 million in seed funding.
The round was led by Lakestar, with participation from J12 and a list of renowned angel investors with operational experience building global data infrastructure leaders such as Denise Persson (CMO at Snowflake) Kevin Ryan (Co-founder at MongoDB), Emil Eifrem (CEO & Co-founder at Neo4j) and Mehdi Ghissassi (Head of Product at Deepmind).
This seed round will enable Validio to rapidly build as a company: accelerating commercial expansion, product development, and R&D, as well as launching our next-generation data quality platform on various cloud marketplaces and continue onboarding more exceptional talent to the company.
The funding will also allow Validio to continue on our mission to eliminate bad data that is impacting companies and organizations of all size
