Uplift Labs, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of AI-powered technology that delivers real-time movement tracking and 3D analysis to enhance performance and health using a smartphone, raised $2.5 million in seed funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $5.5m, was led by Seth Curry, Callie Rivers Curry, David DeCastro, Atma Capital, LAUNCH Fund and The Syndicate, and Ethos Fund. They join initial seed backers RCVC, DEEPCORE, Stadia Ventures, Oregon Sports Angels, Gaingels, Marc Gasol, and Renee Montgomery.

The company intends to use the funds to develop a single-camera version of its solution to make this technology truly portable.
