tZERO Raises Funding Round

tZERO, a New York-based provider of blockchain-based infrastructure for financial markets, has announced a new funding round to support its ongoing growth strategy. The company specializes in infrastructure-as-a-service for tokenised securities and other assets, enabling financial institutions to bring blockchain-based assets to market through regulated channels.

Investors

The funding round was led by Marc and Max Cohodes, with participation from existing investors Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and Bill Fleckenstein, as well as support from strategic partner Dinari. Neighborhood Intelligence also committed to participate, with its portion to be funded upon the announcement of a binding agreement for a strategic transaction.

tZERO Use of Funds

tZERO plans to use the capital to support operations and execution, position the company for capital independence, and continue to commercialize and expand its infrastructure for tokenized financial markets.
