Trace Raises $3 Million in Seed Round

Trace, a San Francisco, CA–based workflow orchestration startup, has raised $3 million in Seed funding. 

Investors 

The round was led by Y Combinator, with participation from Zeno Ventures, Transpose Platform Management, Goodwater Capital, Formosa Capital, WeFunder, and angel investors Benjamin Bryant and Kevin Moore. 

Y Combinator (YC) is a technology startup accelerator and venture capital firm founded in March 2005. YC runs an intensive, three-month program twice a year, providing accepted startups with $500,000 in standardized Seed funding along with hands-on mentorship to help them achieve product–market fit and rapid growth. 

Trace Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to enhance its AI workflow orchestration platform, build deeper context-graph engineering capabilities, expand its product and engineering teams, and scale adoption of AI agents in enterprise workflows.
