Tokitus, a Lithuania-based SaaS marketplace for mental therapists, raised €125,000 in a pre-seed funding round.

The investment came from a Latvian network of private investors called Venture Faculty.

Venture Faculty, the investor, is a Latvian hub established in 2019 and headquartered in Riga, Latvia. The hub provides various services, including corporate services, legal support, venture and private equity investments, and startup consulting.

Tokitus Use of Funds

The funds raised in this pre-seed round will be utilized by Tokitus to expand its platform for mental health services across Europe and the United Kingdom. 

About Tokitus

Founded in Vilnius in 2020 by Ulvia Avidan, Tokitus is an online therapy platform. The platform offers 11 types of mental care therapy, such as psychoanalysis, gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and others. The sessions can be either individual or in a group. The therapists speak 15 languages. The company’s technology can match clients with appropriate specialists for 5-10 minutes. Tokitus also developed solutions for corporate employees. The group sessions are intended to manage work-related stress, build more effective interpersonal relationships at the company, and improve employees’s job performance.
