The Digital Hotelier, a Dubai, UAE-based travel tech startup, has successfully raised a six-figure pre-seed round of funding from Select Ventures Holding and a group of angel investors from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The startup plans to use the freshly acquired funds to expedite its product development, expand its scope and reach, as well as grow its team.
“Dubai stands at the centre of the region's thriving tourism industry, drawing over 14 million visitors annually and solidifying its place as a preeminent global destination. While hotels have made strides in this direction, the ordering process still relies heavily on direct communication, which can be a daunting task for tourists, particularly those who face language barriers,” said Dr. Qutaiba Al Ali co-founder and CEO of The Digital Hotelier.
The Digital Hotelier provides a software solution that enables guests and tourists to book and pay for various services offered by hotels, including room service, spas, food, and entertainment. The startup's solution, which supports multiple languages, also caters to hotel apartments and holiday homes offering short stays
