SynMax, a Houston, Texas-based data intelligence company specializing in maritime and energy intelligence, raised $13 million at a $50 million pre-money valuation.   

SaaS Investors 

The round was led by energy trader Bill Perkins and included participation from Alex Moore, co-founder of Palantir.   

SynMax Use of Funds  

The company plans to use the funding to further develop its innovative products, including Theia (maritime intelligence), Hyperion (oil and gas intelligence), Vulcan (coal inventory tracking), and Leviaton (LNG maritime intelligence).
