Synapse Analytics, a Cairo, Egypt-based AI technology startup that helps enterprises develop, build, manage and scale AI solutions to optimize & scale operations and grow more sustainably, raised $2 million in a pre-series A.

The round was led by Egypt Ventures, with participation from Cloudera’s founder, Amr Awadallah, as well as Africa Platforms Founder, Simon Rowlands, along with existing investors

The new funding will accelerate Synapse’s efforts to help businesses adopt AI and expand their operations.
