SurrealDB Raises $23M in Series A Follow-On Round

SurrealDB, a London, UK-based AI-native multi-model database platform, has raised $23 million in a Series A follow-on funding round. 

Investors 

The round included Chalfen Ventures and Begin Capital, alongside existing investors FirstMark and Georgian, bringing SurrealDB’s total investment to date to $44 million. 

Mike Chalfen of Chalfen Ventures will join the company as a Director. 

SurrealDB Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to accelerate product development in reliability, performance, security, and enterprise readiness; expand its cloud offering; and scale support for production deployments.
