Spaceflux, a London-based space intelligence company, has raised an additional £3.5 million in an extension to its seed round. This funding brings their total funding to £9 million. The company specializes in AI-powered space intelligence products, including its Pattern of Life analytics system and Cortex platform.
Investors
The latest funding was led by existing investor Blackfinch Ventures. Continuing participation came from Foresight Group and the UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund, which is managed by Future Planet Capital and supported by partners like the UK Space Agency and the U.K.'s Ministry of Defence. New investors included the Tokyo-based firm SPARX Asset Management, marking Spaceflux's first international institutional investor.
