Space, a San Francisco based software startup, has raised $2.4 million in a pre-seed funding round to develop its AI-native distributed filesystem. The company aims to redefine data access for human users and AI agents by collapsing cloud and local storage into a single, shared data layer that eliminates the need for downloading, syncing, or duplicating files.
