Sovra, a fintech startup based in the Middle East and Europe, has raised more than $2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The platform allows users to manage digital dollars, earn yield, and conduct global transfers through a self-custodial account integrated with Visa and Mastercard networks.

The round was led by Pharsalus Capital, with participation from regional and global angel investors, including Karim Atiyeh, Hisham Al-Falih, Hany Rashwan, and Naguib S. Sawiris.
