Smartlane Secures over €6 Million in Series A

Smartlane, a Munich-based SaaS startup that offers AI-based solutions for optimized transport planning, announced that it secured over €6 million in a Series A round of funding. 

New investor JOVA Direkt Invest GmbH and existing investors pitched in a combined €4.5 million, while the remaining €1.7 million came from EU support funds as a part of the European innovation promotion program. 

The fresh capital will allow Smartlane to expand its team and accelerate product development towards enabling autonomous logistics systems to fully manage the dispatch process.
