SkinBit Raises $6M Pre-seed

SkinBit, based in Los Angeles, is building a revolutionary full-body skin scanning platform and longitudinal data service to improve early detection of skin cancer. The company announced today that it has successfully raised $6 million in a pre-seed funding round.

Investors

This round was backed by Boost VC, Cleo Capital, Manna Ventures, and Profluent Capital. Additional participants include Lyft co-founder Logan Green and a group of nine board-certified dermatologists.

SkinBit Use of Funds

SkinBit plans to use the new capital to expand its network of scanning technology, which is being deployed in med spas, longevity clinics, and dermatology practices. The company aims to have three locations operational in 2026 and fifteen by the end of 2027 to build a longitudinal data platform for patient skin health.
