Simpmatch Raised €2.5 Million in Funding

Simpmatch, a Munich, Germany-based startup that supports job seekers in finding a job as a delivery driver quickly, easily, and safely, raised €2.5 million in a funding round.  

The round was led by the European seed fund 10x Founders, with participation from Bonsai Partners, the Flaschenpost founders Niklas Plath, Christopher Huesmann, and other business angels.  

With the new capital, Simpmatch wants to grow further, advance its product, and, for example, further develop its academy, which will support drivers with further training opportunities free of charge.

Simpmatch connects job seekers in the delivery and logistics industry with suitable employers on driverhero.de. The company leverages the automated process and reverse recruiting approach that significantly shortens the application process. Currently, DriverHero is active in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Zurich. To date, more than 10,000 candidates have already been brought together with companies such as Knuspr, instabox, and Gorillas.
