roclub, a Berlin, Germany–based teleoperation platform for medical technology, has secured $11.7 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Smedvig Ventures and YZR, with participation from existing investor Speedinvest and several angel investors. 

Smedvig Ventures is a prominent European venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage and growth-stage technology investments. It operates as the venture capital arm of the larger Smedvig Family Office. The firm invests in companies at the Series A and Series B stages in B2B (Business-to-Business) technology across Europe. 

YZR Capital is a venture capital firm based in Munich, Germany, that specializes exclusively in backing early-stage technology companies in the healthcare sector. Founded in 2021, the firm invests in Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A rounds. 

roclub Use of Funds 

The company will use the funding to support its U.S. expansion, further develop its teleoperation marketplace connecting healthcare providers with remote technologists, and continue innovating in AI-enabled medtech operations.
