Resourcify, a Hamburg, Germany-based startup operating in the waste management and recycling sector, raised €14 million in Series A funding.
The round was led by Vorwerk Ventures, with participation from Revent, Ananda Impact Ventures, Speedinvest, BonVenture, and WEPA Ventures.
Vorwerk Ventures is an independent € 150m Venture Capital Fund with € 400m under management. They invest in founders with sustainable business models that have a positive impact. Based in Berlin, Germany, the firm seeks to invest in the information technology, consumer products, and services sectors.
Resourcify Use of Funds
The company intends to use the investment to further enhance its SaaS offering in tandem with expanding its footprint across the UK and Continental Europe.
Founded in 2015, Resourcify provides an all-in-one waste management and recycling platform that helps companies manage and improve recycling efforts. The service offers automated workflows that make recycling more efficient and transparent, increasing the mass a company can recycle while reducing costs.
