Rebill Raises $5.4M Seed
Rebill, an Argentina-based payment infrastructure startup, has raised $5.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round to support its expansion across the Americas. The investment brings the company's total funding to more than $9 million since its inception in 2020.
Investors
The round includes renewed investment from Vercel’s founder and CEO, along with a SpaceX executive investing in a personal capacity. Existing backers include Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, and Dropbox’s co-founder.
Rebill Use of Funds
Rebill plans to use the new capital to accelerate growth in its existing markets, deepen its operations in the United States, and develop two new business lines. These lines include Rebill Treasury, which enables companies to manage funds across multiple currencies, and Rebill Platforms, which allows software marketplaces to offer embedded collections and payment services to their own clients. The company also intends to scale its efforts to acquire large merchants and integrate artificial intelligence into its core operations.
About Rebill
Founded in 2020 by CEO Nahuel Candia, Rebill provides a payment infrastructure platform that allows companies to accept local payment methods in foreign markets without the need to establish local business entities or sign separate regional bank agreements. The company operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the US.
