Powerplay Raises $7.14 Million in Series A

Powerplay, a Bengaluru, India-based construction management firm that simplifies communication for construction, raised $7.14 million in its Series A funding, bringing Powerplay’s total amount raised to $13 million since its inception in 2020.

The round was led by existing investors Accel, with participation from Sequoia Surge, India Quotient, and Snapdeal founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal.

Powerplay plans to use the funds to scale its core business, fuel its growth, and strategically scale its OS business, both nationally and internationally. 

The startup also plans to use the funds to expand its tech team to ensure a glitch-free experience as it scales.
