Pillar, a Milan, Italy-based construction technology startup, has raised €12 million in Seed funding, bringing its total funding to €15.2 million.

The round was led by Earlybird Venture Capital and Base10 Partners, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and earlier backing from Emblem.
Earlybird Venture Capital is a European venture capital firm focused on investing in technology startups across Europe. The firm backs early-stage companies in sectors including SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, AI, and deep tech, supporting founders from seed through growth stages.
Base10 Partners is a San Francisco-based venture capital firm that invests in founders who believe purpose is key to profits and in companies automating sectors of the real economy. Through its Advancement Initiative program, Base10 donates a percentage of its profits to underfunded colleges and universities to support financial aid and other key initiatives. The firm manages more than $1 billion in assets under management.
Pillar Use of Funds
The company will use the funding to strengthen Pillar’s presence in Italy, expand internationally, and develop additional platform modules for procurement, tender management, subcontractor coordination, banking, and construction services.
