Operata Raises $11M Series A at $100M Valuation

Operata, a Melbourne, Australia-based AI-powered CX observability platform for modern cloud contact centers, has raised $11 million in Series A funding at a $100 million valuation.

The round was led by Tidal Ventures, with participation from Glitch Capital, Ghost VC, Black Nova Venture Capital, and Flying Fox Ventures. 

Tidal Ventures is a venture capital firm headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with an additional office in New York, United States. Founded in 2016, the firm focuses on early-stage, product-led technology startups, typically investing from seed through later venture stages. It supports founders with both capital and operational guidance to help them scale globally. Tidal backs companies in sectors such as enterprise SaaS, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure, providing strategic support beyond funding. 

Operata Use of Funds

The company will use the funding to deepen integrations with major contact center platforms, expand support for emerging AI-driven customer service tools, and scale operations across North America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
