Ockam Secures $12.5 Million in Series A

Ockam, a San Francisco, CA-based company that builds open-source developer-first tools for mutual authentication and end-to-end encrypted messaging between distributed applications, announced that it secured $12.5 million in Series A.

The investment was backed by Craft Ventures, Future Ventures, SineWave Ventures, OCV, and Okta Ventures, among others.

Ockam plans to triple the size of its engineering and product teams to tackle the next phase of Ockam’s growth.
